“And as with glee they bore, upon their lovely heads, their curls dripped with gore” photo: Todd Keith
I had been wanting to do a Victorian shoot for quite sometime now!! So excited that we got to make this a huge collaboration shoot!! We really wanted to have a set for this one rather than plain background studio shots. Brian & Nikie of One World Media Productions had been working on gathering just the right pieces for building the set!! We had two sets built, many people contributed to organizing and placing things in just the right spots!! I had 3 gowns that we wanted to shoot! One was a “Marie Antoinette” style Victorian dress I made out of a gorgeous peachy/gold brocade which had taupe lace & gold striped ruffles, with blue flower accents! The second dress was a gown I made a few years back, I call “Incendiary Strolls” it’s a full lace/cotton ruffled dress with back bustle and I’ve burned all the ruffling edges! Third dress was a more steampunk gold and black brocade design, which had a lace high collar shirt, corset, and skirt! Chaunsey L. Hildebrandt did an amazing job on makeup as she always does!! Styled and powdered all 3 wigs, as well as modeling the Incendiary Strolls gown!!! Nikie modeled the gold&black brocade gown and helped with set design as well as post on a few of the photos! Todd Keith worked his magic and made us float, 🙂 Also helping with set design! Renee Keith captured some gorgeous photos! Brian Goodrich Gerber did most of the set design and got some amazing shots definitely capturing the darker side!! This was such a fun shoot!!! Thanks to everyone who helped out! Love working with all these super talented individuals! Here are some of the final shots!!
